Like a Warm Hug
Dennehof is perfection on every level. Our room (The Wagonshed Suite) wasn’t just beautifully decorated – every detail was thoughtfully considered for comfort and convenience. It was spacious and inviting, with a cosy lounge, coffee station, toasty fireplace, an exceptionally comfortable bed, and blackout shutters. The bathroom featured a magnificent shower with the loveliest Fijn Botanicals products and our favourite Mungo towels. Breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious – served in a magical glasshouse nestled among the trees in their beautiful garden.
But the real highlight was our wonderful hosts, Inge and Albert, whose kindness and generosity are truly unmatched. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and cared for – from thoughtfully pre-heating our room on a chilly evening when we arrived, to sharing fantastic recommendations that led us to hidden gems we’d never have discovered on our own.
We loved every moment of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dennehof to anyone visiting Prince Albert. We will most definitely be back to try out that outdoor bath in warmer weather!

Un paradis à Prince Albert avec un accueil très Chaleureux
Découverte d’un superbe endroit, décoré avec beaucoup de gout, un vrai paradis, on s’y sent tellement bien. Merci à Inga et Albert pour leur accueil très chaleureux et leurs bons conseils. J’ai adoré leurs chiens ;-).
Délicieux petits déjeuners sur la terrasse. On n’a qu’une envie c’est de revenir et d’y rester un peu plus longtemps. A recommander sans hésitation.

A Warm Karoo Hug and Quiet Luxury!
What a gem. When we arrived at Dennehof it immediately felt like exhaling after a long day.
Every tiny detail has been thought through with só much care. Beautifully styled room with little touches that just make you smile – homemade rusks and cookies, luxurious robes, calming colours and the most dreamy fragrances! The room smelled so good, we honestly just wanted to bottle up the whole experience and take it home!
But the real magic? The generous hosts, Inga and Albert. They are attentive in the most gentle way – always one step ahead of what you need, but never intrusive. They are completely in tune with what makes a stay extra special. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels truly sincere.
The breakfast is next level delicious. Everything homemade – you can taste the love.
We left rested and inspired, full of gratitude and ready to plan our next visit!

Superb Dennehof!
We have been visiting Dennehof for over 15 years and it is simply THE BEST! The rooms are a joy – beautifully furnished and equipped. The welcome from Inga and Albert could not be more friendly. The breakfast is legendary. Best poached eggs in South Africa!! We will certainly be back!!

Gem in the Karoo
We had an amazing return stay at this gem in the Karoo with such attentive and informative hosts, Albert and Inge. Nothing was too much trouble for them (information on things to see and what to do, where to hike, where to eat- even made reservations for us) Our suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, private with a lovely kitchenette and lounge area. The breakfasts served are worth the drive, We will definitely be back.

Perfect Hosts and Setting
We stayed for 2 nights in the the beautiful and well decorated Wagon Shed suite. Inga and Albert were wonderful hosts and they kept their beautiful garden and house/ cottages in excellent condition. Their staff were also very friendly and well trained. Dennehof is in our humble view one of the best Guesthouses we have been in many years of travel through South Africa.
