About Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse

ABOUT US

Our energetic team’s passion is the number one element about us that makes Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse the success it is. Immaculate rooms, manicured gardens, exceptional and friendly service, and delicious meals would not be possible if it weren’t for our dedicated staff.

~ History ~

Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse was originally built as a two-roomed farmhouse to mark the marriage of the granddaughter of Zacharias de Beer who, together with his wife Dina, were the first settlers of Prince Albert on the farm Kweekvallei.

The homestead grew, together with the family, accommodating an inside kitchen, living room and several bedrooms which are all encompassed by the long veranda that lends Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse its aura of stately elegance today.

Gem in the Karoo

What a stunning place to spend a night (or more) on route to Cape Town. The room was fabulous – great stoep for a sundowner and the breakfast is still registered as one of our better meals! Definitely on our list of places to return to.

Absolute Gem in Prince Albert

We loved our 2 night stay at Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse. From the comfy bed and pillows, to the exceptionally spacious accommodation and exquisite breakfasts outside on the deck under the trees. We look forward to a return visit for a longer period of time.
