~ History ~
Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse was originally built as a two-roomed farmhouse to mark the marriage of the granddaughter of Zacharias de Beer who, together with his wife Dina, were the first settlers of Prince Albert on the farm Kweekvallei.
The homestead grew, together with the family, accommodating an inside kitchen, living room and several bedrooms which are all encompassed by the long veranda that lends Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse its aura of stately elegance today.
~ 4 Star Rating ~
Declared a national monument in 1997, Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse was the first guest house in Prince Albert to be accredited by the South African tourism authorities and has since been awarded four stars by the tourism grading council. Skilful restoration over the last few decades has ensured that Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse can still be enjoyed in her full glory by generations to come.

There are eight beautiful en suite bedrooms to choose from, all lovingly decorated to conjure up feelings of a bygone era whilst carefully balancing modern day comforts and luxuries.
~ Leisure ~
The old farm reservoir serves as a salt-water pool, replete with a raised deck from which to bask in the warm Karoo sun while taking in the backdrop of the old windmill, olive groves and towering Swartberg mountains.
For cooler winter days, Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse offers a sauna for two, the pool being just a short leap away for those brave enough to face the thrill of the chill.

The glass conservatory and shaded wooden decks tucked away within the magnificent gardens are the ideal setting to enjoy meals and drinks, no matter the season.

Charming Guesthouse with warm Hospitality
We had a truly wonderful stay at Dennehof in Prince Albert. The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. Our room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The whole property has a warm and special charm. Great guesthouse with great hosts! Would recommend Dennehof to anyone any day, business or leisure. The details in the rooms are eye catching and the breakfast by Inga is delicious with great coffee by Albert. The service from their team is also top-notch.

A Superb Place to Stay.

Beyond Expectations
