As the name suggests, this room was the dairy of the old homestead. An endearing feature and focal point is the old wooden stump which served as a chopping block in days gone by. Even with this characterful block, the room still offers a spacious environment, the twin beds bathed in plenty of natural light flowing in from the sunny, private patio.
The high reed ceilings and wooden beams, a traditional Karoo feature, add an extra sense of nostalgia to this charming space.
Besides charm, luxury is prevalent in the details and the room offers percale bed linen, Mungo towels, bathrobes, air-conditioning, as well as a tea and coffee station with homemade rusks.
The Dairy can be booked as an individual room for two, or in conjunction with The Cottage by opening up an interleading door to create a spacious family unit.
