A Hidden Gem in Prince Albert: Dennehof
Dennehof is a small, idyllic paradise that stole our hearts from the moment we arrived. Every detail is infused with love—from the thoughtfully curated interiors and the enchanting garden to the warm welcome and heartfelt farewell.
The breakfast was simply outstanding, leaving absolutely nothing to be desired. We (my parents) stayed in a dreamy suite and two beautifully connected rooms, ideal for families (we and our kids) thanks to the shared living space that offers both comfort and privacy.
Our only regret? We stayed just one night. Next time, we’ll be sure to stay longer—and we wholeheartedly recommend Dennerhof to anyone seeking charm, serenity,

There is no Better Place!
The difference between something good and something great is attention to detail and here at Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse it’s all in the detail. A place I would go back to time and time again. This was our 2nd stay and will definitely not be our last. The hosts Albert & Inga, as well as all their staff (not forgetting Ferdinand and Elsa the two ridgebacks) , are so welcoming, friendly and professional & go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Rooms are absolutely stunning, with everything you need and more for a super comfortable stay. Inga and Albert’s outlook on sustainability is commendable, taking from nature only what they need and putting back as much as they can. Love that about this place. We stayed in the lap of luxury but still knew we were treading every so lightly on mother earth thanks to the sustainability that the owners strive for. Thank you Albert and Inga for a wonderful stay, we will definitley be back again and again and again.

Best Anniversary
Our visit to this Karoo guesthouse was absolutely blissful. The level of detail and care poured into every aspect by the owners is truly exceptional. They have perfectly balanced the historical charm of the old Victorian house with an interior that is both beautiful and highly functional.
Everything speaks of quality, from the luxurious Mungo linen to the peaceful, tree-filled garden. The food was eyes-rolled-back-in-your-head good. The homemade granola and rusks were excellent – a fantastic way to start the day. The welcoming committee of two friendly dogs, Ferdinand and Ella, added so much warmth to the stay. This guesthouse is a genuinely special, peaceful place. We are still daydreaming about it……

In every detail you can see the passion Inga & Albert put into their hotel. The property is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully furnished, and the breakfast area and all other facilities are designed with great style. One of our best experiences in South Africa!

Way Above Expectations
Wow! What an oasis of calm, elegance and comfort. Not to mention the best breakfast in the land. Albert and Inge have created something very special in Prince Albert. The warmth of their hospitality, the size and decor of the rooms, and the setting of their guesthouse make stat Dennehof an absolute must. We loved it.

Excellent Hosts, Beautiful Surroundings
I can’t say enough how amazing the owners and hosts were. Extremely attentive and helpful. The guest cottages are amazing and the surrounds and nature is spectacular. Highly recommend the Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse for an unforgettable experience.
